Photograph wedding without a flash?

I am on vacation for 3 weeks, so I spend a lot of reading, online. There is an on-going discussion on photographer forums about to use or not to use flash for wedding photography. I found some from last wedding where my flash didn't go off (just kidding). So, should flash be used or not?
